Mrs. G is a 76-year-old female newly diagnosed with advanced non-small cell lung cancer who is receiving single agent doxorubicin (vesicant) with palliative intent. She has multiple co-morbidities consisting of insulin-dependent diabetes, mild congestive heart failure, and Reynaud’s disease. The patient has refused a chest port because she is unsure how long she will continue with the therapy.
